Description: A sweet short crust pastry case with a lemon filling, which is topped with peaks of piped meringue. This pie comes pre cut into 12 portions.
Preparation: Remove all packaging and defrost for 12 hours. Once defrosted use within 48 hours and keep refrigerated. Do not refreeze.
Ingredients: LEMON FILLING (54%): Water, liquid pasteurised egg yolk, sugar, shortening (palm oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), concentrated lemon juice, dextrose, modified waxy maize starch, stabilizers: agar, locust bean gum; flavouring, colour: curcumin.
PASTRY (23%): Wheat flour, vegetable margarine (palm & rapeseed oils, water, salt, flavouring), shortening (palm oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), sugar, water, maize flour, salt, colours: curcumin, annatto.
MERINGUE TOPPING (23%): Sugar, reconstituted egg white, water, stabiliser blend (egg albumen, modified waxy maize starch, citric acid, stabiliser: carboxy methyl cellulose; sugar), modified waxy maize starch.
