Description:A three layer moist sponge cake comprising of two pink layers and one yellow layer sandwiched with strawberry jam and sweet buttercream. The gateau is smothered in buttercream and finished with a sprinkling of colourful crunchy spheres. This gateau is pre-portioned into 14 portions
Ingredients:Sponge (52%): Sugar, WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, calcium, iron, niacin, thiamine), pasteurised whole EGG, water, margarine (palm oil, rapeseed oil, water, coconut oil, palm stearin oil, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; natural flavouring), rapeseed oil, modified maize starch, MILK protein, raising agents: diphosphates, potassium carbonates; emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate; WHEAT starch, WHEAT protein, colours: curcumin, carmine, natural flavouring.
Buttercream Icing (36%): Icing sugar, butter (MILK) (17%), margarine (palm oil, rapeseed oil, water, coconut oil, palm stearin oil, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; natural flavouring), humectant: glycerol.
Crunchy Spheres (6%): Sugar, WHEAT starch, glucose syrup, water, glazing agent (coconut oil, beeswax), colours (curcumin, beetroot red, anthocyanins).
Strawberry Jam (6%): Glucose-fructose syrup, strawberries (35%), sugar, gelling agent: pectin, acidity regulator: citric acid, sodium citrate; colour: anthocyanins, natural flavouring.
