Description: An American “style” round carrot cake cut in half, filled and topped with sweet frosting and decorated with a sprinkling of walnut pieces. This gateau is pre-portioned into 14 portions.
Usage: Defrost in a refrigerator for 8 hours. Once defrosted use within 7 days and do not refreeze.
Ingredients: CARROT CAKE (72%): Sugar and cane molasses, wheat flour, rapeseed oil, liquid pasteurised whole egg, carrot (12%), pineapple, desiccated coconut (contains sulphur dioxide), water, raising agents: disodium diphosphate; sodium hydrogen carbonate, cinnamon, mixed spice, sodium bicarbonate.
FROSTING (27%): Icing (sugar, dry glucose syrup), vegetable margarine (palm oil, rapeseed oil, water, palm stearin, emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, natural butter flavouring), full fat soft cheese (contains modified maize starch, salt, potassium sorbate) (19%), flavouring, water, acidity regulator: citric acid.
